Founded in 1996, the Round Top Arts Festival was designed to bring visual arts to what is already considered a rural arts capital.Named "One of the Top 100 Arts Small Towns in America," Round Top now hosts a top quality juried art festival that features artists who work in a variety of media. Artists may apply in painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, ceramics, photography, glass, jewelry and woodworking. The Festival is hosted by the Pioneer Arts Foundation at the Henkel Square museum village just off the town square in Round Top, Texas. The selection of applicants is determined by jury.
